Iron Lion began his hip-hop career in 2001 very shortly after releasing his debut CD, of the electronica genre, "Wake Up". After releasing "Wake Up", Iron Lion got wrapped up in a project to produce a couple of tracks for local Calgary MC's: The M-Pyre. This project totally rearranged his priorities and efforts from then on and he became not only a hip-hop producer, but MC as well.Iron Lion was featured on 4 tracks of The M-Pyre's debut CD "333" from 2004 and boasted one production credit as well. Around the same time "333" was released, three of the most driven MC's (Iron Lion, SoLeo and King Lou),as well as the DJ (Stilz) branched out to form a new group called Impirical.Impirical had great local success as a trio as they released their debut CD "Eyez of The Masses" which came out in late 2004. Impirical also joined forces with local MC's and producers to form a hip-hop collaborative known as Audible Intelligence (aka AI). AI was formed to share and expand knowledge as well as put their promotional skills together. Since then, AI has been doing shows and forming ideas together. Some talents from the AI line-up include mantrakid, Ricca Razor Sharp, The EquAzn, PlanIt, Cinister Cee, Wyzaker, etc.Jumping off of the success of "Eyez of The Masses" and their first single "We Be Pubbin", Impirical release an EP in 2005 named after their local hit.In 2007, Impirical came back for a final album entitiled "The Coat of Armz" which featured amazing production and MC's skills from the trio.FUTURE: Iron Lion is currently working on his first solo album entitiled "The Eye of Ra" which is due to be out in the Fall of 2007.Here are some details:Album features Production by: mantrakid, Cinister Cee, King Dylan, Soleo, Iron Lion & more…
