We search for rational, tangible, "real world" explanations for those occurrences which can sometimes be mistaken for, or interpreted as, paranormal activity. Our initial objective is generally to rule out as many variable explanations for paranormal activity as possible via processes of inductive and deductive reasoning, rather than simply assuming that strange or unusual occurrences are the work of ghosts.

However; when we feel that the scientific approach has been utilized to its utmost possible potential and still does not offer a reasonable hypothesis, we would then turn to our team members with more intuitive approaches to offer their interpretations, feelings and impressions of the case, as an alternative perspective. Even so, we do not represent ourselves as the final, authoritative word, as we feel it is ultimately up to the individual to decide for his or her self what to do with the hypotheses or intuitions we may present.
