About Me

Artists for a New South Africa (ANSA) is a nonprofit organization working in the U.S. and South Africa to combat HIV/AIDS, provide comprehensive care to children orphaned by the disease, advance civil and voting rights, and educate and empower at-risk youth. Established in 1989 to support the struggle against apartheid, ANSA works in partnership with effective organizations on the frontlines of these issues, making a substantial difference through grants, media campaigns, educational and arts programs, advocacy, distribution of material aid, and the development of innovative, collaborative projects.
