----------- BEGIN BEATPORT PLAYER -----------------------Carlos Esteban Picornell, known as Kpi, was influenced by music from a very early age through the numerous musicians in his family and when he was a young boy he began to study music, guitar and piano.
His passion for music progressed over the years and as a teenager, attracted by the resounding rythmns about at that time, he started a collection of vinyl records of all different styles and decided to break into the electronic scene as a DJ in 1995.
Using his own unique and refined technique, his sessions play from the darkest minimal to the most modern and elegant electronic sounds. Rythmn boxes, synthesizers, Fx, etc. are his real passion, not forgetting audio analogy.
After 11 years spinning music behind the decks he decided to create his own record label, TACTO RECORDS, with a view to introducing into the market a creative, modern and innovative vision of what is understood to be electronic music. Apart from his music for personal use he also promotes new talents and gives opportunities to great artists who may be “unknown†due to the lack of support.
Without a doubt, the best is still to come!!
