About Me

I'm an aging web developer with a prominent New Hampshire consultancy. I have a bad back, a long history with all things punk and hardcore in New England and a deep rooted love of heavy metal. I drink too little and watch too many horror movies. I'm opinionated but hate talking about opinions. If I give my opinion, I'm only going to have to listen to yours and quite frankly, I don't give a shit. I have a beautiful wife, two cats and a baby on the way. I know a lot about nothing important. I still have a weekend job at a record store. I dream of organizing a midnight movie feature at a local movie theater. I have also played video games for 27 years.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet no one. Trust me on that. I've met a few of my idols and that has never worked out for me. I ran into Tom Savini at the FX Toy Show in Orlando, Florida, and that was traumatic to say the least. Fango loves to talk about how great he is with his fans, so I must have caught him on a bad day or something. He completely blew me off after I tastefully expressed my appreciation for his work. It was a crushing blow to my fandom. I still like the things he does in movies, but fuck that guy. Seriously.

I met this Misfits years ago when they first got back together and none of those guys were really all that thrilled to meet me.

Then I met Bruce Campbell. That wasn't as crushing as my others, but being told to sit down and being completely ignored during the Q&A portion of his talk was embarassing to say the least. 500 eyes watching me get burned by the man was kind of tough on my ego. I had him sign my shit later on and he turned out to be really cool.

My brushes with celebrity have been nothing but disastrous, so fuck that. Next time I see someone walking down the street whom I idolize, I'm going to keep my fucking mouth shut.

My Blog

There is no way out of here. It’ll be dark soon. Manos: Rock Opera of Fate

I don't know where people find these things, but leave it to Andrew and the bad ass Bad Movies Dot Org forums to turn up a link to the latest musical project of the New Millenium Theater Company, Mano...

The King of Kong reviewed at Cinema Suicide

I'd been seeing a lot of hype for this movie but I didn't know much about it.  Ain't It Cool News hasn't been able to shut up about it and for a while their site was plastered with ads for it.&nb...

Rob Zombie’s Halloween reviewed at Cinema Suicide

So I got the rarest opportunity to scope this flick a little early.  Zombie was biting off more than he could chew when he decided to take on one of the greatest examples of contemporary horror. ...

Cinema Suicide theme update

I tried to hold out as long as I could but I just couldn't do it anymore.  The Mandigo theme for WordPress was a nice looking theme but the current version wasn't particularly customizable and wa...

Wild Zero reviewed at Cinema Suicide

It's been tough lately finding the time to sit down with a movie and make it all the way through so I can review it so I fell back on an old favorite that I feel doesn't get much press.Lurking somewhe...

The Prodigy reviewed on Cinema Suicide

Understandably, I took some time away from reviews to spend the week with Nise and Lilah.  I'm back in the swing of things, though.  Back at work and whatnot.  I took some time last wee...

Delilah on Flickr

I've never been a shutterbug.  I've also never really had a camera.  My life is pretty much uneventful and documenting it with a camera would be a waste of drive space/film.  Nise and I...

To the Devil a Daughter

At 1:21 PM on August 11th, I became a father to a 21 and 1/4 inch, 7 pounds 8 ounces baby girl. I'm shocked by my ability to articulate anything at all, let alone the events that have happened since I...

Legend of the Sacred Stone reviewed at Cinema S

I'd been meaning to write this one up for a long time.  Legend of the Sacred Stone stands to reason as one of the strangest movies I've ever seen.  One part kung fu movie, one part Thunderbi...

Turkish Exorcist reviewed at Cinema S

It's not nearly as weird as Turkish Star Wars and it's actually a shot for shot rip off, but Turkish Exorcist is just one more in a line of fucking crazy Turkish rip offs.http://www.cinema-suicide.com...
