Plastic Bitch was formed in November 2000 in Tiszaújváros. The founding members were two childhood friends, Imi (bass) and Tibi (drums). They've started to rehearse and to play the first shows with local friends. This lineup has lasted for 2 years. Not far after Rob joined the band as a second guitar player, the original guitarist and their singer left them.
With the members down at three, they've continued to rehearse in their hometown to find a singer, which happened in early 2oo3. Unfortunatelly this quartet only worked together until September 2oo4.
Back down to a trio again, the band decided to temporarily move to England. While working on the songs, they decided to put out an advert for a singer, hoping to find an English frontman. A few weeks passed, until they've got a response from a singer, James. They rehearsed for a few times, and chose him to be a permanent member. With this lineup, the band continued to write new songs. After five months of practicing, Plastic Bitch completed a short tour in Hungary with Sun Workshop and Másfél, where they got a really positive response from the audience, as well from other bands. At the end of the summer of 2006 the band moved back to Hungary to play on the Sziget Festival. One week later James moved back to England, and one of the founding members, Imi has left the guys.
In October Laci joined the band as the new bass player. The band started to re-write all the songs and have waited to James to fill the place of the singer again. In the same time the guys also started to record their first EP.
The band nearly turned into instrumental because James couldn't solve the problem to move to Hungary, so the guys have decided to find a new, Hungarian singer. In March 2007, Plastic Bitch re-formed with Ricsi. From that point we can say that this is the band's strongest line-up ever. The guys completed the older songs for some months and have started to work on material together which turned out really massive after some month of writing. They've played shows with The Idoru, Neck Sprain, Velvet Stab and many more.
A promo EP - Three Cuts Deep - was finished in March 2oo8 which is available through the band's webpage www.plasticbitch.com .
The guys worked on their debut LP in Érd, at Bakery with Zoltán Varga. The record will hit the stores shelves in winter 2009.
