Well, I ran off to Tennessee and got to do alot of amazing things. I got to meet the most wonderful people and my greatest accomplishments were getting to play all over downtown and record my demo at Reba's Studio!! My ultimate goal is to make a living doing what I love most-songwriting, singing and performing my music. I missed home and decided to come back and finish my degree in Communications which gladly, I will be doing in the fall. I still travel back and forth to NashVegas about every other month to say hello to my friends and record. I know I have a long hard road ahead of me and I am willing to endure it because I can't imagine doing anything else. I think that one of the most important things someone has to have in this industry is confidence, so I am not afraid to say that I am proud of myself for getting this far and for how much further I will go down this path. Since I was able to know what a singer/songwriter was, that was all I really ever wanted to be. I am kicking myself for not learning how to play guitar sooner and really getting into the whole lifestyle sooner. But, you can't dwell on the past! I'm pretty sure that I want to stay in TX from now on...maybe later move to Austin...somewhere there is ALWAYS music playing. I want to stay close to my family...But, who knows where I'll end up!For those who may not know me, I am a little wild sometimes but it never lasts toooooo looooong. (LOL) I'm alot like a guy stuck in a girl's bod, but I do have a soft side as well. My closest friends are: Mark, my Mom and Dad and my brothers...ALL OF THEM, Wade Stockton, Stacy Watkins, Ashley Warwas, Kim Miller, Jarrod Birmingham, all of Highspeed Hayride, Lamar Benavides, Monica Wayman, April English, Joey Ckodre, Garrett Mead, Ruben Alvarez, and last but not least Danny Monroe. I love: Jesus, Singing and songwriting Playing my guitar cherry pie, mac and cheese (but only if its home-made), long candle-lit baths, Cabernet, Red Zinfandel, steaks cooked medium-rare, Babies, poker(texas hold 'em), bikes, classic cars (and some new ones too), self-defense class, gun training, volleyball, modeling, dove hunting, riding horses, and playing hide and go seek at age 23 while intoxicated (thanks Katie) I hate: whinney, obnoxious people, players, running, alcoholics, free-loaders, missing a clay pigeon, WHEN A GUY LETS ME BEAT THEM AT POOL,...I'd rather lose the right way than win the wrong way. and chick flicks. I hope to meet new people in Nashville and find what has been calling me here all my life. I hope everyone is doing well and that they are making their dreams come true.
