About Me

BAND BIO:
Mena$a (Bryan E. Palm, 1981) is the driving force behind The Dutch Antillean ghetto superstar crew Immorales, one of the most popular groups from the Caribbean area and Holland. Mainly situated in Curacao (Immorales) and Holland (IMMO) they have had a string of underground and mainstream hits on the Islands of Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Puerto Rico and The Netherlands.
In 2005 Mena$a works on a remix for Benelux Icon MC and 1 Dutch Hip Hop artist Brainpower (Alles remix). This top 5 hit collabo creates an interesting synergy, where Hip Hop and Reggaeton blend in a unique fashion. Brainpower becomes the first mainstream ‘Hip Hop’ MC in Holland to deviate from the regular remixes, bringing Reggaeton to a new audience without losing its core essence, and Immorales and Mena$a are the first Curacao Reggaeton crew to blend with a rap artist of this composure. Many Mena$a-remixes followed right after (Non Stop remix - The Party Squad, Vlinders remix – Brainpower).
Later that year, he produces the 1st official record release with in the US called Los Immorales "La Teoria 29-9", which included the promotional single “El Caballo” and finally emerged the group from the music underground scene by closing a record deal with Talent Beach and a distribution deal with Universal Latino.
In 2006 Mena$a produces IMMO’s (Immorales’ Holland division) underground mixtape “Introductiedag” which features the club-bangers “Ga Los”, “Waarom Niet” and “Gooi Je Handen In de Lucht”.
His Caribbean/ Latino roots and raw Hip Hop street edge creates an energetic repertoire. Brainpower (having worked with Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA, D12, Nas, Ultramagnetic MC’s and having officially remixed The Beastie Boys) says : ‘Last year his crew played me an instrumental track they called a Crunk-ton beat. That sh*t blew me out the frame! His stuff is off the hinges!!!
By constantly combining genres (Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Dancehall, Trance, Pop and Reggae) he truly comes up with an original approach that results in the ‘freshest refreshing’ stuff every time.
Mena$a has all the ingredients to be one of the world’s next top producers ; soul, talent, insight, experience, work ethic and open-mindedness. Rounded off with a 2007 deal with the renown publishing company Pennies from Heaven/Pecunia Non Olet, he moved to Miami, Florida to study “Creative Music Production and Music Business”.
Later that year he starts his own production company “Bomb Music Production” (BMP). BMP is a professional organization specialized in production, mixing and mastering of music. BMP is producing different beats for local (Miami) and international (Curacao, Aruba, St. Maarten and Netherlands) artists.
With an extra touch a HIT will be converted in a Super HIT with a music video from “Bomb Video Production” (BVP) the Video department of BMP, residing in Europe, Netherlands. BVP consist of Silver (C. B. Mongen), Gino Inc.(L. Roojer) and L. Vis (L. Martis). Together they make a product from script, shoots, coordination till video clip editing.
Shortly after BMP began a partnership with Dj Ryan C, starting “Bomb Shelters Studios” residing in Curacao, which is a high quality recording studio for new talents (among other Aljereau, Ymbert Hato) and old talents (among others Immorales and many more). The final work of the songs are being done at the Production Studio in Miami and broadcast to one another through the internet.
Recently Mena$a finished working on IMMO’s debut album “Lesuren” which contains the Hit singles “Kom Maar Mee” and “De Perfecte Dag” feat. Ori and Brainpower.
