About Me
E-Cady is on a mission to be one of the best Artist/Producers the music industry has ever seen. He represents a wealth of hip-hop styles but has created a brand of music that stand on its own. He fuses addictive rhythms with compelling changes and there is never a break or a mistake in the music.
The Album named “I Do It All†not only because he made his own original beats, recorded him self etc, but simply because the Album got it all cover… Music for the club, that rider music for when you driving around, that hustlaz anthem/gangsta tracks, your real life track for anyone that got someone who has passed away, and of course he got that special track for the ladies… The Album got it all!
E-Cady is not only an artist and a producer he is also an entrepreneur with his own record label (Phat Rhymes Records) were he produces and engineer’s custom beats for other artists. He displays professionalism, enthusiasm, charisma and an unmatched work ethic. E-Cady is constantly on the grind and is a force to be reckoned with in the music scene.
Every song was written by E-Cady himself, with all original beats created by E-Cady. All songs were recorded by E-Cady at Phat Rhymes Records, and the album final production Mastered by the pros for that major label sound.
My name is Evan a.k.a E-Cady (HighClass). I am Haitian from Brooklyn, New York. I started making beats in the late 90's and then it evolved to recording and it is common knowledge that the more instruments you play, the better understanding you have of how music comes together also the more creative you can be. I play the guitar also a bass because i get a different feeling and sounds on certain tracks other than the keyboard sound. I have produced a number of projects on the east coast area also have been a dj for several places in the east coast area and midwest area. People often ask an artist what they sound like,to answer that question, I guess I sound like me. I have an accent that makes me stand apart, as far as my style goes I approach a beat the way I feel like my rhymes will blend in on the track as an instrument. I also like to play with the vibe to keep the attention of my listeners. I might come up on the first verse a different way than I approach the second verse. Same goes for bars, I might change the vibe throughout the song to keep it interesting. I mellow my vibe when it's appropriate, depending on the type of the song, basically I like to play with the tracks and have fun with it until I'm happy with it. When it's all said and done I'll let my fans decide whom I sound like. I love everything about music, except for the occasionally dirty business part of it.
I listen to anything that sounds good hip-hop, rap, r&b, reggae, jazz, blues, classical, and the list goes on. With the experience that I've gained from being around music and working with music, my goal was to help other artists achieve and perfect their style looking at it from a producers perspective. The first time I had interest in being a rapper was when I helped my friend produce a demo and he had gotten a recording deal from it. The one song that he got recognized for was the song I had produced and came up with the concept for. From there on, I started to come up with more songs, tracks, and hooks, but for the most part is the reaction that I've gotten from anyone who has listened to my music that give me the encouragement to do what I do. From being around music for awhile now as a producer doing recording and doing dj work, I have developed the ears and feel like I have what it takes to make music that people would like to hear. My best abilities would be the fact that I'm a fast learner and I'm willing to learn from anyone or anything, after all the more knowledge you have the easier it is to accomplish your goal. My influence in music is basically anyone that makes an icon for themselves because those are the ones that encourage me to push it to the next level.
