A talented musical and television sensation in Russia, award-winning singer/songwriter Ellina Graypel was born near the Volga River in the heart of Russia. She spent most of her youth growing up on a military base near Belarus in the former Soviet Union. "The military base was underground and literally right next door to a huge cache of atomic weapons!
By the time she was 16 she became a teen celebrity of Belarus with her own TV show. She was writing poetry, plays, stories, and lots and lots of songs.
