Firstly thank you very much for visiting this page. As many of you know we lost a wonderful person on the 30th June. Xavier Findlator fell from the railings of the North Bridge into the River Hull where he drowned. I have started this myspace page and the petition to change the safety of the bridges and the paths along the River Hull.
"With the railings being only 3 to 4 feet high its surprising that something like this hasnt happened before. With it being so close to Hull's clubbing district many people, under the influence of alcohol, walk over the bridge to get from one club to another and many people, like Xavier, will see the railings as an excuse to play around. If something isn't done to change the height of the railings and to have life rings ready for an emergency a second person could die. Xavier was one of my best friends and I don't want anyone else to go through what I have been through over the past few weeks. Please see to it that this doesnt happen again." - Andy Moore
