Since moving to the Los Angeles area from Uniontown, PA, Brian has been in the right place at the right time to keep him busy with many musical adventures. Landing in Hollywood in early 1999, he met a variety of musicians from all walks of life and so began his introduction into the music scene. The late night jam sessions with friends and the wealth of musical knowledge his brother shared with him all contributed to Brian’s ability to hold down a groove for any group of musicians.
Brian began playing for the national award winning John Burroughs High School Show Choir which helped him fine tune his craft and get more gigs in the process. The show choir gig pushed him to strengthen his sight reading skills, his ability to learn songs on the fly and transpose songs to different keys while playing different arrangements of them for different performances. It was through this experience that a talented musician and close friend Rob Gallagher nicknamed him “The Bass Prophetâ€. The musicians that he met helped him get many of the gigs for which he is currently a part of, and he is extremely thankful to all of the musicians with whom he works for their belief in him.
You can currently see Brian playing in the Los Angeles area with bands Slow Car Crash and Lineage. Check back for opportunities to see him live.
