My name is Morag GlimmerWitch. I am a witch. I follow the path of the Goddess.
The Way of the Witch is as unique as each Soul that follows this Path. Everyone will see, and travel, this Way different to another. The differences within each belief are accepted by all- as different does not mean wrong, it simply means different. Therein lies the beauty.
I find in being part of this 'community'...of belonging to a group of similar - minded people, who draw strength from our differences, and respect that there are many ways of achieving the same goal, and so many varied ways of looking at a situation and knowing that there may be more than one solution, or more than one way of doing something.
One binding rule between all Pagans is that we must harm none with ~ whatever we do by thought or deed - as we understand the power we all hold within ourselves, and realise that good intent is a desirable and just way to travel.
I know that many others would not find my way of being a Witch comfortable - that they may do things differently to I. I have a very simplistic view of my beliefs, and how I live the terms; Natural, Eclectic, Traditional, Green, Hereditary...These are just some ways describing the different way in which a Witch may follow his/her Craft. I am a Solitar- I am not a member of a Coven, I consider myself to be Hereditary, and am a Natural Witch- others may use the term 'Kitchen Witch'. I hold great belief in the curative and healing powers of herbs...We have lost so much knowledge over the passing of time, and is has been relatively recent in our history that people have begun to rediscover, and accept, the wonder and usefulness of herbs.
I do not follow a Wiccian tradition, and many would also describe me as being 'Eclectic', as I draw my beliefs from many different traditions; from family, and from old, weathered books- finding within well thumbed pages simple spells, trusted recipes, and ways to follow this Path that I can appreciate.
Nature holds me spellbound; ask yourself this... how could anyone not feel and accept the power and beauty of nature when they stand alone in a thunderstorm...holding their face up to the skies and accepting the gift of rain upon their skin whilst the lightning washes the scene around them to a stark white flash...? How can one Soul not be awed, pebbles...or hushed to a tranquil moment when the wind talks through the leaves of a tree rustling each leaf and wrapping tendrils of cool air around the roughened bark...comforted by the scent of the ea- peaty and warm -scented of secrets and growth...?
This is how I see the Goddess and God all around me...in Nature and all beauty and power within; and I realise that I am also part of that Whole, and I play a part in keeping these traditions al- as do all Pagans We must all accept that our words are powerful...but if there is thought and intent behind the words we speak, the power of the words is sent throughout the universe. We make our own magick, drawing from our strength and the realisation that there is a greater power all around us and a power within us. For so long modern man has allowed the Old Way to disappear into nothing,  and it is now when we hear our planet crying out in pain, that we know we have lost something that we must find yet again.
The most simple words can be heard by the ears of the Great, can be used to heal and to protect...these words and the power we believe in ourselves will call back the Old Way; the traditions and thoughts of a time in our Souls when we were at one with everything around us.
These thoughts are mine and mine alone- I do not write them here as an example of how all Pagans or Witches think or feel...each one who describes themselves as such will tell a different story from within themselves. This is just a very small part of how I feel and how I live. For any Witch to try and describe his/her whole Path would be almost impossible- for me anyway... Everything I do every day is part of who and what I am...and all of who I am and what I am, is a Witch.
"It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are."

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

"We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box." --Unknown--

Life is not measured by how many breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

The Days Of Chivalry
by Winifred Sackville Stoner, Jr.

In days of chivalry, so I've been told,
All knights were gallant, kind and bold,
But ladies though ever so modest and sweet
Made the bold knights kneel down at their feet.
