Hey everyone,
My name is Aymen. I've been writing and playing music since I was 14 years old, rockin air guitar since I was about 7, and have been a lover of music for a lifetime. I wrote, sang, and played guitar for a band called Dexter Danger from 2000 to 2006. We released four albums, became touring veterans, and had the opportunity to play with many amazing bands. Above all, we met so many incredible people while experiencing the beauty and diversity of our country.
Dexter Danger came to an end in December of 2006. I spent much of 2007 attending school and traveling. I didn't begin writing with the purpose of playing for an audience until the end of summer of last year. Since then, I've been writing at my own pace, and as naturally as possible, to allow for my music to grow along with me.
As 2008 began, I decided it was time for me to come out of hibernation, so I began playing shows and introducing my music to responsive ears.
I am now playing solo and occasionally with friends at shows. I'm also in the process of writing an album, which explains why I don't have music on this page yet, but I'll definitely keep you updated on my progress. In the meantime, you can come to shows and bootleg my sets, if you'd like.
Playing live has been amazing and I greatly appreciate everyone's support. I'll be playing as often as I can throughout the Bay Area and California in the coming months, as I continue to write my album, and debut new material. So come on out, say hi, and take a listen.
