About Me

This one might b the last one due to some strange situation @ Bukanyr. hope u come to support our Lab so we can continue with the ultimate minimal/experimental nite in Prague! This one will b very poisoning! A blend of wonky-house and techno-beats served on a bed of abstract funk could perhaps best describe the current state of Clubfoot's dancefloor offerings. Clubfoot, aka Peter Alexander, hails from Brighton UK, where he gained a reputation playing with the Litmus crew and other major clubnights. With a keen ear for a glitchy groove, he plays a snappy and thumping LIVE set, aimed as much at the mind as it is at the dancefloor. Currently residing in Prague CZ, Clubfoot sets about his rhythms using software, synths, samplers, found-sounds and whatever else is to hand, blending it all into a steady-but-heady four-to-the-floor workout.

Band Members: Dj Vik His delicate taste and love for the music brought Vik to cooperation with Brno underground radio Hady, where he started his regular music show in the beginning of the 90’s. Later in 1993, with the boom of the electronic dance scene, for him it seemed like a logical progression to become a party DJ. First he started playing at the local clubs and smaller cities around Brno. In 1995 he became the resident of Mersey club in Brno and a member of Sound of Mersey booking agency, which allowed him to show his talents to a wider audience. Through his skills and original DJ style he slowly grew a steady base of supporters and started playing at all the well-known Czech clubs, first big parties like Supersonic Garage and festivals like Open Air Field. In 1999 Vik decided to leave Sound of Mersey and founded Family Circle, a group of DJs and promoters that shared the same vision and enthusiasm for the electronic music. Family Circle became the leading force of development of the Moravian club scene of that time and between 1999 and 2001 organized numerous events. In Brno and Moravian cities took place successful regular nights such as ‘Solid Session‘,‘54's‘ and ‘F-Delicatesses‘, in Prague occasional ‘Danza de la Mente‘ parties. Besides the Family Circle continuous efforts Vik started his own Jan Kalista production agency to organize more underground oriented projects, for example 2 summer festivals at Drazovice swimming pool situated just outside of Brno. In 2001 he officially left Family Circle and moved to Prague to set up a record shop fosny.cz and concentrate on his Jan Kalista agency plans. In the beginning of 2002 started Sunakashi, very successful series of parties at Perpetuum club in Brno, where Vik played the role of the resident DJ as well as the promoter of the events. After Perpetuum club lost most of its audience, probably due to organisational misconception in 2005, Vik accepted the offer to promote the club from the summer 2006. In short period of time he achieved to put Perpetuum back to the position of one of the most popular dance clubs in Czech republic. His mixing skills, eclectic record choice and ability to use variety of styles in his sets contributed to his individual acclaimed DJ style. Thanks to his talents and promotional activities through the years he shared the stage with such diverse list of DJs like Alex Dean aka Souldoubt, Alex Moran, Asad Rizvi, Charles Schillings, Chris Duckenfield & Richard Brown aka Swag, Colin Dale, Danny Howells, Dano, Dave Mothersole, Duncan Forbes, Eddie Richards, Eric Fischer, Hakan Lidbo, Inland Knights, John Buckby, Jori Hulkkonen, Kid Loco, Lee Burridge, Matthias Tanzmann, Mike Parsons, Mike Shannon, Murray Richardson, Nathan Coles, Nigel Hayes, Omid 16B, Richard Sen, Sasse, Shade, Timmy S., Tony Hewit or Zip. His inspirational and unique style was enjoyed by clubbers at the known Austrian festival Danube Rave, club Lo in St. Louis, USA, or club Pustervik in Göteborg in Sweden. ////////////////////////// Dj Lillou
