My interests at this time is to either watching sports i.e. football, or doing homework....yeah, right! Sports is always the .. 1 priority-maybe that explains why I have been in college so long .. width="425" height="350" ..
The person that I like to meet at this particular stage in life is that of my Fiance's Grandmother. My girl mention's the many wonderful things that she instilled in her as a person like: love, compassion, and caring for those special people that make you a better person in life. I really just want to ask her how she molded such a beautiful person, both inside and out. Also wanted to thank her and most of all God for bringing her into my life....thank you Grandma! Favorite music would have to be "roots reggae". I just love "most' of the positive messeges that inspired the various aritists. Mainly, that of Bob Marley and the Wailers. Their messege of; revolution, justice, equality, and peace among us all human beings is something that we all can aspire for in the future generations. One of his songs said it profoundly: "One Love." Yeah, rude boy, Mista!
Movies would have to be "Saving Private Ryan", for its depiction of the most heroic generation of the these United States, "Forest Gump"-because life is a box of chocolates, and you will never know what your going to get. "The Killing Fields"-due mostly for the inspiring show-case of the human spirit to triumph over tremendous odds. Yet, most recently; "Hotel Rwanda"- for the same reason.
On tv would have to be "Knight Rider"-hence the name "Uso Rydaz." Micheal Knight and his trusty car (kit) was one of my favorite shows, and also, included would be "The A Team." These shows would keep glued to the tv set for hours...just ask my mom and sisters.
My favorite novel is called "Fallen Angels." The novel takes place in Vietnam, and diary's the experience of one American G.I. that is suddenly transplanted from the comforts of home in the States, and is sent over to Vietnam to fight some strange enemy-in a country that he has never heard of. The novel really does generilizes the experiences that was common place for the majority of the service men and women that were involved in the Vietnam conflict.
My heroes would have to my parents: they sacrifice all for the benefit of their children. Tauva (Mother) and Tavita (Father) continue to this day to instill the work-ethic that manifests itself within this person you see today. They continue to inspire me as we speak. Love you Mom and Dad. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. I try my best everyday to make you proud.
