I am here for Friends

About Me

"Come away, Oh human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery hand in hand
For the world's more full of weeping
Than you can understand."
--William Butler Yeats
I decided to write a new 'About Me' paragraph since the last one wasn't really about me at all... It just went on and on about not having a photo, and lurkers and stupid boys and the Witness Protection Program, and pseudonyms and how cameras can steal a person's soul (cha, everyone knows that) and rabbit holes and warrens and mystery and adventure and... yeah. So. I'm done with that now.
Oh. Right. About me... I'm odd, but lovable. And I'm completely random. I feel I should also warn you that I'm a little geek at heart, and my sense of humor has a twist to it, so other people might not find things I find funny, funny. Obviously some people get me. Which is a little disturbing... Wow. I ramble, eh?

“There is no neutrality in war; anyone who claims to have it is a coward or a fool, to hold such naive beliefs. This blade has two edges, this battle only two sides; it is having the courage of one’s convictions to stand up and choose where you will draw your sword. I despise neutrality.”
~The Emperor of Jezmalia; Into the Dark

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Loki, William Wilberforce, Anthony Godby Johnson, The Swan King, John Wilmot, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Napoleon Bonaparte, Fitz Farseer, Jehanne d'Arc, Eric Liddell, Joe Farrell, Sherlock Holmes, Doc Holliday, Cpt. Jack Sparrow, and Odd Thomas. But they're either dead or fictional, so I don't think it's really a possibility.

Other than that, I'd really love to meet just about anyone - especially Andrea Bocelli, I'm in love with his voice - as long as you play fair and are nice to me. The 'playing fair' is a grey area really, and I won't hold you to it. The 'nice to me' is a must.

Mean people suck.

Kyou Kara Maoh boys are way too much fun. Seriously, how can you not like a series that begins with someone being flushed down a toilet? That's right, flushed right into another world. Makes you think twice about giving that dork in first period a swirlie, doesn't it? I pretty much love every aspect of this show. It kinda pokes fun at the whole fantasy genre.

"Give me leave to rail at you -
I ask nothing but my due:
To call you false, and then to say
You shall not keep my heart a day.
But alas! against my will
I must be your captive still.
Ah! be kinder, then, for I
Cannot change, and would not die."
--John Wilmot

"I am enclosing two tickets to the first night of my new play; bring a friend... If you have one."
-- George Bernard Shaw to Winston Churchill, followed by Churchill's response:

"Cannot possibly attend first night, will attend second... If there is one."
