The Acoustic Kitchen

About Me

Contemporary music club based in King's Lynn and run by South African singer / songwriter Pete Kitchen.
This is NOT a sing-around 'folk' club nor is it a traditional club. The aim of TAcK is to promote the rich wealth of singer / songwriters currently trying to make the world aware of who they are.
We would like to be a part of the discovery process of new talent, having a lot of fun along the way and always acknowledging that the labourer is worthy of his hire.
There are no free lunches so we charge an entrance fee at the door. This goes to cover the artists' expenses and not to make us rich - not likely!!
We also prefer to use local musicians as support wherever possible, to encourage them to improve the talent they already have
Experience has shown that personal improvement comes through being challenged by your peers' skills so our aim is to expose local musicians to classy acts thereby raising the bar in our region.
Last Friday of the month is Live at the Riverside at Riverside Restaurant on King Street. There will also be number of soiree-type supper concerts aptly titled, "An evening with ......". Keep an eye out for these as they will feature amusician at the top of their genre playing an hour concert at the end of a 2-course Riverside Restaurant meal.
Booking by invitation or co-ercion or pigeon post or snail mail or direct intervention only!
