About Me

I am a multi-instrumentalist who is currently trying to learn piano and hoping to get into a Masters in Music program within 5 years..

I retired from playing in bands 2 years ago but decided to come out of retirement for Burnt In Effigy ( www.myspace.com/burntineffigy ), whom I was producing. I'd played bass for 20 years, but would only play for pay or signed artists, guitar for about 15 years, and am very happy to be playing keys (hint, hint).

I am also starting to write songs again. I'm really out of practice and frustrated... but hey, that's the way the cookie bounces. I will also post links to my old material, like this:

As far as the rest of my life, I'm one of the most overeducated frieks... guess you could say I'm a geek in friek's clothing. Aside from a degree in English Literature from Union College, as well as a minor in Physics and Math, I'm also a certified paralegal, am one class shy of finishing my Pre-Meds, a CS degree, etc. I've also always wanted to study painting. I love the Renaisance and Bauhaus periods and fell in love with painting through the impressionists. Van Gogh popped my artistic cherry. My father had one of those HUGE coffee table books and I was smitten at the age of 12-ish. I'm also a computer nerd. Yeah, it gives me a headache, too.
