Silver & the Hidden Cash is an eight-member band featuring American folk with rock, punk and country influences. The band was created on September 2006 in Ioannina Greece. The fact that music Knowledge is not necessary for entering the band plus the fact that the funs are closed to it, has given the band a sort of “collective†’s atmosphere.
Silver & the Hidden Cash are influenced by American folk tradition such us:from Stanley Brothers, Pete Seeger to Johnny Cash and the Dixie Chicks. The band combines traditional American sound with hard rock and punk rhythms. As a result not only a special, unique sound appears, where guitars and banjo (by the only woman banjo player in a rock band in Greece) are playing the lead role but also an aggressive and a little bit more rough rhythm section.
