About Me

I am reluctant to describe myself, only because I realize self-perception can be quite different than what is perceived by others. I consider myself to generally be kind, understanding, honest and genuine in my relations with others. I never make a promise I can't keep and I am generally always reliable. I'm inquisitive and consequently I enjoy discovering new things and learning. I like the company of others in sharing what life offers and I am equally as comfortable exploring life on my own. I enjoy smiles and laughter and these are not unusual for me to find humor in the activities of each day. I have no doubt that a soft caress can say much more than words we speak. I've found that sharing in the joy and pleasure of others brings pleasure to me. I appreciate the rich variety of choices that life offers and my taste in food, clothing, friends, and activities more than likely reflects that. I work hard and I enjoy what I do, but I also believe that there is a balance to strike between working to live and living to work.

The qualities I would hope for in an ideal match are perhaps those same qualities everyone would hope for... patient, kind, loving, honest and caring. I appreciate people who are accepting of others and don't feel they need to impose their view of the world. I appreciate a person who is clear about his or her needs, yet is adaptable in accepting what life offers. It is important to me that an equality in all things exist in a relationship. Equality and trust and a willingness to just spend time together are the basis of any good relationship. I find a little of myself reflected in thinking about describing the qualities or traits I value. I think being receptive to what life offers and living consciously are important qualites to have in whatever we do. I believe I have those qualities (I try to) and I would wish to meet someone that considers that important as well. The country a man comes from or the distance is not as significant as the nature of his heart and the quality of what is shared between two people.
