About Me

Hey I'm Mel! I spend alot of my life as a receptionist/administration assistant at a small IT company in East Sydney. Love being in the city. Don't particularly love extended hours spent awake due to travel. I will probably start back at uni (online so I can still work) this year but don't ask me what I plan to do there or what my future career will be. I like sleep. I like talking and writing and listening and eavesdropping. I like the internet. I like learning new things. I like arguments and controversy. I like shopping. I like clothes and shoes and handbags and makeup and anything similar. I like people who I can relate to and understand. I like listening to music. I like dancing. I like coffee and chocolate. I hate thinking about things that I hate.

People I know People I know of People I knew in the past but have lost contact with People I don't know who interest me in some form or another. Examples of people who do not interest me are people who call me hun/babe etc. when they don't know me, tryhards, people who don't have anything to say other than "hi how are you" and other such formalities and people who are overseas trying to make friends in Australia as they are visiting. Especially ones who state that. In real life:

People who I can talk to easily People who I understand and relate to People who I find funny and amusing

Music:

Lots! I may get around to a list in the near future.

Movies:

I generally like alot of different types of movies. I just can't watch scary ones or ones that are too cliche.

Television:

Summer Heights High, Will and Grace, Sex and the City, Friends, The Office (American Version), Curb Your Enthusiasm, We can be Heroes, Top Model, Scrubs, Girls of the Playboy Mansion, So you think you can Dance.

Books:

Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, MX and other magazines and newspapers.

Heroes:

If this means someone who I think is admirable I would have to say something corny like "I can find something admirable in almost anyone". I especially admire people who have positive traits that I don't have. I think "heroes" in this world are people who try to make it a better place. Even if they are only able to make a small difference.

Saturday - Stuff Im not sure people will care about

I really like Friday nights at Largo/Crown Plaza or whatever you wanna call it. They play really good music and it doesn’t take you an hour every time you want to get a drink or go to the toilet...
