7 CYCLE HUM is a new hip hop music group founded by Tracy Dawn. This creation is an innovative sound, mixing Hip Hop with melodic rock melodies by Tracy Dawn. The name 7 CYCLE HUM represents the new direction and attitude of her music. The number seven has historically represented perfection, luck, blessings, completion, and rest. Tracy Dawn created the name 7 CYCLE HUM to represent the positive, upbeat, fun music she makes. Instead of cycling in patterns of pain, hurt, hard times or bad experiences, she encourages listeners to "feel the hum of the cycle of perfection."
Tracy Dawn signed her first record deal with Warner Bro.'s Records. "You Deserve to be Loved" was released for a movie soundtrack "Sweet November" (Keanu Reeves, Charlize Theron) produced by John Shanks (Producer of the Year Grammy's 2005). She was also included on a CD "Songs in the Key of She" along with Enya, K.D. Lang, Bette Midler, and Dolly Parton. Atlantic Records signed Tracy Dawn to her next record deal and released "Poetic Aftermath" to the christian market. Tracy Dawn's first single "God in a Box" went to number six on the christian rock charts. Both follow up single releases landed in the top ten. Prior to her record deals, Tracy Dawn made her living modelling for print/runway (Calvin Klein, Armani, Nike, Aveda) and commercials (Pepsi, Burger King, Coors Lite).
Currently, 7 CYCLE HUM is recording and planning to play L.A. shows this October, November, and New Years Eve with Australian disco/funk hit maker Shaneal. So, get ready to DANCE!
