2nd Wisconsin Company C

2nd Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, Company CCompany C of the 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, is dedicated to presenting an authentic living history portrayal of its famous Civil War namesake. Our primary impression is that of the Second Wisconsin on campaign during 1862. Company C is proud to be affiliated with The 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Association Inc., and Vincent's Brigade 2nd Battalion.company C of the 2nd Wisconsin were originally known as the The Grant County Grays do to the gray colored uniformes issued to the 2nd wisonsin at the beggining of the war.
