A native San Franciscan, born and raised. ( Now live in a suburb to the North). Born in the Haight Ashbury in 1945 and named MaryJane after my great Aunt MaryJane from Ireland. Lived in the Haight before and during most of the Summer of Love, hence my name “flowerchildmj.” Have an insatiable curiosity about so many different topics.... Therefore, have tons of books. Always loved to read and write. Spent some years traveling around Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, the US. Love: my kids and grandkids, long, hot baths, being out in nature, dancing in the full moonlight, movies, photography, art, music, dance, swimming under the stars, lying in the sun, new babies, good friends, family, everything Celtic, tarragon, lavender, soft lips, soft skin, the sound of the French language, the Pacific NorthWest, Western Marin, being on the water, bieng in the water, the South of France, gardens and beautiful flowers, beautiful old trees, the ocean and the beach, birds in flight, beautiful views, getting the perfect picture, writing poetry, finding the perfect word; most kinds of music, especially jazz and latin, my little neighbor Cassandra, my daughter’s English Bull Dog Lola and her beautiful un-named male Ragdoll cat,examining new ideas, re-examining ancient ideas that are now called “new age,” looking younger than I am, feeling younger than I am, interior design, playing around with arts and crafts projects, drumming in a drum circle, dancing my ass off, living life to the fullest, kissing the sunshine
