Crüenadian CrüeFest was started for Canadian Motley Crue fans who want to help raise money for the Skylar Neil Memorial and Running Wild In The Night Foundations...These Foundations were founded by Vince Neil and Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue, for two very different reasons, with two amazing causes...
The Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation was started by Vince Neil after watching his beautiful daughter Skylar Lynnae succumbed to cancer at the age of four, August 15, 1995...Not wanting to see this deadly disease continue to ravage children, he recognized his own power to do something meaningful, something that might help eradicate cancer from childrens' lives...From parents' and families lives who are completely devastated by the disease...The Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation to date has raised almost $1, 000, 000 for cancer, AIDS and leukemia research and awareness; the Foundation then donates the money raised exclusively to the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS research...
Nikki Sixx established Running Wild In The Night because he knows from personal experience what being at risk, living on the streets means to youth...Nikki launched Running Wild In The Night to help raise funds for Covenant House ...Covenant House is an organization that provides services in 21 cities across the world, to homeless and runaway youth, health care, education, drug abuse treatment and prevention programs, street and community outreach and aftercare. Since it's inception this year, Running Wild In The Night has raised over $40, 000 to donate to Covenant House!
