Do not mistake understanding for realization, and do not mistake realization for liberation

About Me

found this retro layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com :: MyHotComments I can't objectively describe myself so... bear with me. Lately I've been thinking about doing all the things that technically assert your place in society. You know, all that scary shit like owning property, houses, making babies, marriage career, Ouch. So, I've finally set my feet on the career aspect and yes folks, I'm a a bonified professional designer. Next- I am in a good love relationship that grounds me and keeps both sane and insane. Even better, I have traded in my party shoes and other people's drama and decided to chill out and stay home more. All that other stuff well, if it comes, it'll have to wait. Simply, all I want is an extraordinary life. I'm almost there, I have an amazing loving family, I've got a buttload of great stories, I have 2 dogs, a good man, I brought capoeira into my life, and I've turned out to be alright. However, I'm still waiting for the rockstar dream to come true as well as my daily lotto fantasies. Look at my face it says rockstar all over it.
You Should Have Been Born Under:
You've got a ton of energy - and need plenty of room to roam.
You tend to follow your whims, and it's hard for you to stick to one thing.
Specific jobs, loves, and friends are always changing and never a part of your life for long.
Very intuitive, you tend to know what people are thinking before they say a word.
You are most compatible with a Dog or Tiger. What Year Should You Have Been Born Under?

My Interests

MyHotComments People are interesting- It's amusing to try to make a clear distinction between fiction and nonfiction because quite honestly there isn't one. I mean fictional stories most often use real experiences real characters, and nonfictional pieces are riddled with someones perspective yet are presented as fact, I mean really what's more interesting than life? Other interests include singing, painting, design, capoeira, and anything fun that I love to do but often dont' find time for. If I had a lot more money I would be an adrenaline junky. Did I mention I LOVE Capoeira because I'm addicted now.

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet people who are passionate about life, living, about experiencing new things. I want to meet people who are from all ends of the earth, who have great tales to share, who are like-minded and spirited but are very different. Am I getting cheezy yet? Who I don't want to meet and become friends with are drama queens (men and women), who always play the victim and always seem to be looking for help but can't help themselves. If you constantly blame others, rarely take resposibility for anything, Please STAY AWAY.

Music:

I go through phases so... fr/ back in the day til now...Jane's addiction, The Pixies,The Cure, The smiths, blah, blah, some classic rock, Janis, Jim, Jimi, Led Zepplin, CCR etc., some jazz... Miles davis, Billie Holiday, ella fitszgerald, I'm a sucker for a great vocalist, Jeff Buckley, Bjork, Portishead, she's so sassy smokin and singin, a little reggae.. Bob, Bearning spear, etc., Manu Chao, Mad Professor, Smokey and Miho, Pittzicato five, the The Postal service, the strokes, the streets, Amy Winehouse, those kids in Miami Sueno lO, they can really jam! a little hop hop here and there, digable planets, de la soul, ERik B and rakim, Mobb deep, etc., Oh and can't help it, I grew up around Otown so old schoool breaks, I love me some D n B you can really dance to that shit, and the list could keep going but that is a better idea. Wait.. you gotta check out Sam Rivers at Will's Pub on WEds nights, (starts later liek 10 or 11 I believe. He's amazing! It's jazz, well it really pushes the limits.. give it a chance, at first it might be a little overwhelming, and then you can really start to feel it, it grooves, it moves, its wild
