Andrea Scagliarini inizia a sedici anni di età la sua infatuazione per il blues e l'armonica. Nel 1979, appena diciottenne, è al seguito di Homesick James durante la sua prima esibizione italiana. Nell'anno successivo registra la colonna sonora di un documentario prodotto da RAI 3.
Ha trascorso lunghi periodi negli USA come armonicista della Phil Guy Blues Band partecipando a due edizioni consecutive del B.L.U.E.S. North Halsted St..Festival di Chicago (1991/1992) mentre, come solista, è stato ufficialmente invitato all' 8th Annual Harmonica Blow-Off di Portland, Oregon(1997). Inoltre, ha collaborato in Italia con Dave Myers (1999), Eddie Kirkland (2000), Sonny Rhodes (2007), Delores Scott, James Wheeler e
Deitra Farr (2008), Amar Sundy (2009) e John Primer (2010).
Nel corso degli anni ha “aperto†le esibizioni di artisti internazionali quali Sugar Blue, John Primer, Herbie Goings, Deborah Coleman, Paul de Lay, Bill Perry, Tino Gonzales, Popa Chubby, Carl Weathersby, Long John Hunter,
Trudy Lynn, Marcia Ball, Tom Principato, Nine Below Zero, Mark DuFresne e Mud Morganfield. Come sessionman ha condiviso il palco con Gary Primich, William Clarke, Andy Just, Little Mike, Jumpin' Johnny Sansone, Andy Santana, Thabby Thomas, Chris Cain, Oliver Sain, Lurrie Bell, Billy Branch, George Baze, Michael Coleman, Mike Morgan, Raful e Kenny Neal.
Sponsorizzato da oltre un decennio dal marchio Lee Oskar Harmonicas di Seattle (USA), ha incuriosito la rivista specializzata American Harmonica Newsletter che nel 1994 gli ha dedicato un ricco profilo biografico.
Candidato nel 2002 agli Italian Blues Awards, è risultato il terzo armonicista italiano più votato su base nazionale.
Collabora discograficamente con Dario Lombardo Blues Gang e si esibisce in clubs e blues festival insieme al chitarrista "roots" Beppe Rainero.

Born in Torino, ITALY in 1961, Andrea Scagliarini began his fascination with harmonica when he was sixteen. After more than 25 years, his credits include soundtracks on Italian TV films, articles about harp technique and a wide experience as harmonica player all over Europe and even in historical Chicago blues clubs.
During his career, Andrea has been on tour with blues legends such as Homesick James, Dave Myers, Eddie Kirkland, Phil Guy, Sonny Rhodes, Deitra Farr, James Wheeler, Amar Sundy and John Primer. As a member of the Phil Guy Blues Band, Andrea performed at the 13th and 14th editions of B.L.U.E.S. North Halsted St. Festival in Chicago, IL.
Andrea Scagliarini has opened shows for Sugar Blue, John Primer, Paul deLay, Bill Perry, Deborah Coleman, Tino Gonzales, Tom Principato, Marcia Ball, Popa Chubby, Long John Hunter, Thabby Thomas, Michael Coleman, Carl Weathersby, Nine Below Zero, Mark DuFresne, Mud Morganfield and many more.
Harmonica masters like William Clarke, Gary Primich, Andy Just, Raful and Kenny Neal, Andy Santana, Little Mike and the Tornadoes, Jumpin’ Johnny Sansone and many more have met Andrea as a guest or session man.
Since 1994, Andrea Scagliarini has endorsed LEE OSKAR HARMONICAS. As a soloist in 1997, Andrea was invited to participate at the prestigious 8th Annual Harmonica Blow-Off in Portland, OR. (USA)
In 2002, Andrea was voted Third Best Harmonica Player at Italian Blues Awards. Today, Andrea Scagliarini is a well-known recording artist and is currently a member of the Dario Lombardo Blues Gang one of the best Italian blues bands.
