About Me

CHECK OUT OUR NEW WEBSITE! www.chainbreak3r.com ____________________________________________________________ ___ ______________________________________________________ The band is thankful to have met Bikers For Christ and honored to be their official band in Phoenix, there are hopes to hook up with other chapters in other cities across the country, as well as other Motorcycle Ministries. ____________________________________________________________ ____ There's a very special song, with a very special meaning on the cd called, "And We Prayed". Jay's mother was a concert pianist and a very respected piano teacher, not to mention just a very beautiful person. That's not enough to make it to heaven though, and he had the opportunity to pray with her before she left this world. The song is a testament to that. ____________________________________________________________ ____ CHAINBREAK3R was formed in the summer of 2006 in Phx.,AZ. Put together at Church on the Street,a church dedicated to helping those coming out of prison, off the streets, etc.,the band has endured many changes and battles. The songs are all focused on God and the power of His deliverance. Live, there's an energy about the music that gets even devout "non-rockers" rockin! It's music that's a vehicle for the message that there's a better way to live than being in bondage to drugs, or alcohol,or whatever holds you prisoner and keeps you from the presence of God, and redemption through Jesus Christ CHAINBREAK3R is based out of PHOENIX FIRST ASSEMBLY. All the songs are written by Jay and are his testimony. God has turned his life around and he's got a lot to sing about. From a musical family, Jay started playing the violin at age 6, adding the bass at 11, and guitar at 12. It was devastating at 18 when his hands started getting weak. It took away his ability to play almost completly. A few years later he was diagnosed with Muscular Distrophy. When asked how they could help him play music again the Doctor said to forget it. He'd be in a wheel-chair soon and dead in 10 years. A death sentence and no more music. Life got real crazy. Then an invitation to a concert with some Christian bands started the long road to change. Accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior led to the "laying on of hands" for healing. From that point on the guitar was a driving force in his life. God made a way when there was no way. It was a long time(years)before he totally gave himself and his music to God but now it's all about God. By the way, that 10 years was 20 years ago! The hands dont look like they could even hold a guitar, but when you're playing from the spirit... PRAISE GOD!!! ____________________________________________________________ ____ MINISTRY & VISION (JAY) To reach people with the message of deliverance through music, to eventually play places where no other true Christian bands go. Let the music God gave us open the door, let God do the rest! We've been doing everything from concerts, Christian Biker Events, Church Praise and Worship, to homeless outreaches. The vision I had long ago was to bridge the gap through music. Not to follow any trends, as music keeps changing, but to be unique, and in doing so, shine the light GOD has put in me. I play for GOD, and wherever HE wants me, I'll be there. There's no way, physically, that I should be able to play at all. I thank God everyday for allowing me to do this! If I get tired, all I have to do is remember where I came from and where I'm going. My strength is renewed daily. ____________________________________________________________ _____ CHECK OUT OUR OTHER WEBSITES!!!!!!!!!!!! www.chainbreak3r.com (where you can get our cd or tshirts) www.myministryspace.com/chainbreaker www.mycountryspace.com/chainbreak3r www.JCFaith.com/chainbreaker
