Did you know that Shark fin soup is sold in U.S. restaurants?!? Well, believe it. Your neighborhood restaurant could very well be carrying this controversial and inhumane dish. Did you know that 73 million sharks are killed yearly for the shark fin industry?Regulations against shark finning exist, however some are weak and not properly enforced. Therefore sharks are still enduring long cruel deaths for the shark fin industry. Many shark species are being depleted and are falling to dangerously low levels - basking, porbeagle, dogfish, gulper and hammerhead sharks.Sharks need our help! Please don't buy any shark fin products and don't patronize restaurants that sell the soup.Know of a restaurant in your area that sells the soup?
