here are some obscure ones: macaroni and cheese (the blue box shit, not because it's good, but because it tastes like 7th grade and that shit's funny), colgate mint enamel protection toothpaste, showers with wet water (i know you're thinking "alright you crazy fuck, water is ALL wet," but you know what I mean, it's that nasty water you get when you travel to places that have high chlorine content in the water so your hair and skin feel fucked up because the water's not as wet as it should be. you can never have water that's too wet), guitar picks that are .88mm thick, dogs that know not to beg while you're eating dinner, the smell of matches,
the people that interest me always do it because i couldnt have thought them up before. so yeah, whatever, you be you, i'll be me, we'll conversate (that's not a real word). usually when i meet people, they ask me any of these following questions about my hair: A, is it all yours? (no, i'm actually a chia pet); B, do you use product? (shampoo? yes. gel? hell naw.); C, you mixed? (y'know, like half black. i'm actually half polish jew and half puerto rican. i made up my own race...heborican); D; can you hide my pen in there? (sure, but only if you're okay with losing it); E, can i touch it? (yes, it doesn't bite, but i didn't have the guard dogs out last night, so who knows what's nesting in there?) I keep on growing, they keep on asking. it is what it is.
think about this one hard now, really fucking hard. what is your absolute favorite means of listening to music? there are a number of options. headphones vs speakers, ear buds vs ear goggles, computer or cd or tape or record, car... i've thought about this one a long time. i think the best way to listen is from a cd in a big cd deck with a really nice reciever/amp through a nice comfortable pair of headphones with the volume to the point that it feels like you're in the room with the music, but they're not beating you with noise. i try to listen to music that way all the time and i think it's helping me sleep better. whatever works for you, try that out. i bet you'll like all your music better.
i wish they still played music videos on MTV because i'd watch them all day long
the word hero reminds me of two things. 1, the lead female role in the play "much ado about nothing." i saw it on tv when i was really little and there's a part where a guy is yelling her name and it got stuck in my head for a long time. of course, i didnt understand that was a sex scene. whatever. 2, italian sub. you know those generic bags they give out at pizza places for a sub and it has all the sub synonyms written on it like hoagie and bomber and hero and whatever? yeah, that pops in when i hear that word.
