If there was ever a recording artist more seasoned and ready to make a lasting impression on the Reggae Music Industry, it would be this up and coming rising star Lyrical Don. Simply referred to as The Lyrical, he is a lyrically gifted song writing genius/entertainer with a persona that is sure to attract a wide range of music lovers. The Lyrical Don was born and raised in Jamaica in a small town called Hatfield in Mandeville, Manchester. This area in Jamaica is known for producing the great GARNET SILK, one of the most gifted Reggae Artist of our generation. The Lyrical developed a love for Reggae Music at a young age while attending De Carteret College in Manchester and carried that love with him when he migrated to the United States of America. The lyrical had his first official release "GET WITH YOU" ("WORK IT" www.jamaica-star.com/thestar/20060118/en...) a dancehall soca joint with South Coast Music, Christmas 2005 which was one of the most played singles on Jamaica's Irie FM radio station endorsed by radio personalities like Ron Muschette, Gary G, Big A, Elise Kelly, and Digi Chris. It seemed like this DJ was ahead of his peers which was evident during summer 2006 when Dancehall Soca took over the Reggae Music airwaves with hits like Dutty Wine. No longer signed with South Coast Music, Lyrical Don has launched his own label "TAESHAY MUSIC" and is set to release a steady flow of Dance Hall Reggae tunes starting with this REALITY DANCEHALL joint called "ARMY LIFE" that is sure to set new trends in 2007. This first single "ARMY LIFE" gives an upbeat but serious perspective on the realities of war. The Lyrical is currently looking for other "GIFTED ARTISTS" to record on the "ARMY LIFE RIDDIM" which will be released VERY SOON. (mek sure yuh mek di link if yuh want fi deh pon di riddim). The Lyrical has had the opportunity to perform on the same stage with some of the biggest names in the Reggae music industry from the great Super Cat to the likes of Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Buju Banton, Sean Paul, Mr.Vegas, Spragga Benz, Shaka Demus and Pliers, Luciano, Sizzla, Yellow Man and many other entertainers.
