About Me

Clive Culbertson (bassist, vocalist, songwriter, recording engineer and record producer) was born in Ballymoney, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. He has recorded and toured with many artists - among his huge list of credits are Van Morrison and The Chieftains and the hugely successful Avalon Sunset Album which included the hit single, “Have I Told You Lately” on which Clive plays Bass. In addition to recording and producing a myriad of artists in his “NO SWEAT” studio, Clive is at present working on a solo release for the Japanese Market. He performed to great acclaim with his Punk/Power Pop ensemble “THE SWEAT” at SHIMOKITAZAWA SHELTER in Tokyo at the beginning of November 2007. John Buckley McQuaid's video of THE SWEAT performing their 80's hit "Why'd Ya Have To Lie?" can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5-oLA4zmLo "THE SWEAT" is: Clive Culbertson, Bass/vocals; Adrian Cubertson, Guitar/vocals; Sean Donaghy, Guitar/vocals and Paul Coates, Drums.
