Brafo & Efe are Both Los Angeles musicians born from different mothers but share the same father, Najite Agindotan. Najite Agindotan is a Nigerian man from Lagos Nigeria, Former conga player and godson of the late Fela Kuti. Najite moved to America to bring his love of Afro Beat (a style of music created by Fela Kuti) to America. Najite formed a Band called Najite Olokun Prophecy. Efe (the older of the two) began playing and traveling with the band at the age of 7 as an african percussionist and later became the trap set drummer at the age of 15. Efe agindotan is Currently teaching African percussion in Los Angeles and the trap set drummer for Najite Olokun Prophecy. Brafo joined the group later as the bassist. Brafo is also the current bassist for Najite Olokun Prophecy and can be heard playng with the band anywhere from California to New York. Efe and Brafo Agindotan Grew up with a love for music of all kinds so the sounds that are produced can be of a wide range.Both brothers got together to form Kobon Kanaka. They can be heard producing a wide variety of music " we are musicians , if it can be considered music .. we play it". Get at us if you need music...
