"BK DUKE" started his dj career by mixing vinyl at school-parties and smaller events. At the age of 18 he became resident-dj at Club California in Munich, Germany. Funk and Soul were his passion at that time, but during the past fifteen years his style changed significantly to House. In 1997, after many years of experience in the house-scene and uncountable bookings on big snow-events throughout Austria, Switzerland and Germany, he opened a very successful house club in Nuernberg.
You may state that BK Duke is a DJ for the really extraordinary events: New Year’s Eve 2000 he mixed for hundredthousands of people in front of the Brandenburger Tor in Germany’s capital Berlin, for ARD - Germany’s first TV channel in the years after and regularly every year he rocks the turntables for IKEA the worldfamous swedish furniture company (also more than 10.000 people).
In the meantime he more and more concentrates on producing and trying to find his own style of housemusic. He is combining pieces of electro with different elements of house.
In 2005 he started his own record label Diamondhouse Records.
The last years he travelled around the world with his DJ team "Electric Blaze" and his live house project "Treasure Room".
Also he is producing a lot of new tracks for his side-project Treasure Room and other DJ..s. As BK Duke and also together with his label partner at Diamondhouse Records, Yves Murasca, he is remixing for e.g. Bob Sinclar, Milk & Sugar, JCA, Barbara Tucker (Milk & Sugar Rec.), Lee Cabrera (Houseworks), Stereo Mutants (Defected), Major Boys (Milk & Sugar Rec.), Doc Phatt (Egoiste), Yves Murasca (Milk & Sugar Rec.)..........
