I am a political and personal singer, poet, and songwriter; lover of instruments, animals and children. I have produced three albums, "Terri and Maria", (when I had a duo of the same name) "Riverwalk and Other Songs", ( a family album) and recently, "The Path We Make" (A new adult album of mostly original songs).
I like to have musical and conversational interaction with my audiences, and I enjoy playing music with people of all ages. I play around with guitar, banjo, mountain lap dulcimer, fiddle, and ukelele. I belong to the People's Music Network and The Children's Music Network, as well as other organizations for music and networking. I teach Music Together, a music and movement program for newborns to five-year-old and their parents. I do library programs, sing at farmers markets, other festival venues and coffeehouses. I write songs and also play many covers of people like Joni Mitchell, Holly Near, various artists in jazz and folk and blues. Lyrics are important to me. I am just starting to enjoy and learn how to jam with other people. I am more interested now in the instrumental aspect of playing than I used to be, when I was more focused on singing and memorizing lyrics. I live in a beautiful neighborhood in Saratoga County, and feel very lucky to have the life I have.
