FEELIN' SUBLIME!!Sublime ended in 1996, Long Beach Dub Allstars ended in 2002, the LBC (otherwise known as Sublime Pimps) started in 2002 and will never end.Carrying on the legacy of Sublime, LBC was created by the one and only Q-Ball in his home town, Long Beach, California. He recruited Chris Chamberlain on drums and Kenny Lamb on vocals/guitar. The LBC has dominated the globe, touring the U.S., Europe, Asia, South America, Mexico and South Pacific, selling out concerts up to 50,000 people but not forgetting the small clubs on the way. The LBC is "it"...there is no other band on the planet serving up the songs of sublime like the LBC. The LBC has shared the stage with Pepper, Blue October, Digital Underground, Ramones, Third word, Inner circle, Vanilla Ice, Tone-Loc, Berlin, Third Eye Blind, Reggae Allstars, English Beat, Powerman 5000, E-40 and many more. Recent venues LBC has performed at are...Angels Stadium California, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater California, X-fest (twice) California, Cal Expo Amphitheater California, El Dorado County Fairgrounds California, MTV/Rip Curl Music Festival in Biarritz France, Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas Mexico, Harry O"s Park City Utah, Knitting Factory in Boise, Spokane and Missoula, Mesa Theater Colorado, The Rio Las Vegas Nevada, Empire Ballroom Las Vegas Nevada, Green Valley Resort Las Vegas Nevada, Whiskey Pete's State line and of course, all of the Hawaiian Islands!!! LBC also has done private parties for Ripcurl, Billabong, Sprite and numerous others. In the late 80's, early 90's, Q-Ball ran and booked the clubs fender's in Long Beach and 5902 Club in Huntington Beach. This is where Q-Ball and Sublime singer, Bradley, first met Bradley and Q-Ball would play their acoustic guitars late into the night, creating great music. Q-Ball has been holding onto some old recordings done by Q-Ball and Bradley, four songs never heard except by close friends and family. These songs sound a lot like Santeria and Caress Me Down and may be released soon. Q-Ball still talks with Bradley's father, Jim Nowell, and keeps his promise to keep Bradley's music alive, so it can continue touching the hearts to generations to come. The boys of LBC are like best friends, they surf, skate, fish and party together, refusing to grow up. Q-Ball collects old corvettes, including two 1963 split windows, a 1964 convertible, along side of a couple bad-ass hot rods. When not touring, Q-Ball spends a lot of his time at his vacation home in Cabo Mexico, tearing it up with his band members, family and friends. The LBC boys also enjoy spending time on the French Riviera, surfing and partying from Biarritz France to Spain. No matter where they're at, they're having fun. This is their way, positive energy , making the best of what you got, always have good smoke and have fun.Much love ....from the LBC, keeping Sublime alive.
