About Me

I'm tall, loud, and have a vaunt sense of style. I have a temperament that can swing from nurturing and supportive to scathingly abrupt yet it is always deservedly so.
Contrary to what some people believe after reading my myspace in the past I actually view myself as being a genuine, nice person, which seems to becoming a rarity on here. I try to avoid confrontation wherever possible and have very little problems with very few people. However, don't try and fuck with me, I have a mouth like a smith and wesson semi automatic, I will shoot you down before you even draw [A breath]
Music is my life, eclectic, better than yours. Or at least I like to think this anyway.. but really, theres nothing better than someone playing me something new that I havent heard before and for me to love it. Discovering new bands with real talent is always exciting, so recommend me something
I am fascinated by the notion of 'the end of the world,' any books, films or television programs about a post apocalyptic, dystopian existence keep me gripped. Catastrophism is the one thing I fear the most, yet it completely captivates me.
Personal identity is very important to me, and this shines through in the people I choose to associate with, I like people to have that special spark in thier personality that no one else has. If your one of a kind, then the chances are I will like you like no one else will.
I like modern art, but i'm not talking about the 'shit in a can' or 'pile of bricks' modern art, I'm talking about real talented modern artists. NOT the elitist pretentious idiots at Tate Modern.
Without sounding egomanical; fashion, style, and image are very important to me, but then again so is that bottle of vodka in my cupboard ;p. I like to look good and do spend time on my appearance but in doing so i'm not vanity driven, shallow, or conceited. I don't own any "designer" clothes and favour Topshop over Dior because I do actually understand it's nothing more than a label. I'm not really happy to conciously open my wallet and fund a pretentious, wasteful, exploitative and esteem destroying industry. Saying that, I can appreciate the beauty in fashion when regarding it as a creative art form- I am in awe of Galliano's visionary couture, Gaultier's elaborate film costume and Westwood's (very much English :) street-wear. But I strongly believe that people who can spend thousands of pounds on a single item of clothing are effectively just wearing a huge joke on their backs. I can just as easily go out and spend a fraction of the price and still look as good as all the catwalk models. It's never about what you wear, it's always about how you wear it.
Due to my notorious indecisiveness I now seem to solve any decision with rock/paper/scissors or flipping a coin, in-fact, i've become so good at this game that it's no longer a game of chance but of pure skill. My perpetual indecision causes much annoyance among people, yet I view it as a beneficial quality to have. Once I have finally made up my mind about something, it is only then that I am certain that what I have chosen is right for me and that I will always stand by it. Therefore, I never cancel plans and if I like you then I will most likely always like you, i'm never fickle by liking someone one day and then dislike them the next. My friend-ships tend to be eternally long lasting, the way they should be. I'm strongly committed to whatever decision I choose to make and whichever opinion I determine to advocate.
Lots of you say "your hairs so cool" but this is real life, and i'm not Bree Vandercamp so my hair does actually move and only stays the way it looks in the pictures for about the time it takes to walk to the bottom of my road.
Don't think that because I wear make-up and have an interest in fashion and image that i'm a raving camp queen. I'm not going to whinge about stereotypes because I understand sometimes that these are neccessary so we can all make generalisations. However, I just want to let you know that a certain image doesn't always equate to a certain behavior.
In this country we ridicule humour and theatrical flamboyance, but our appearance can be a powerful personal and political statement. For some people taking your life into your own hands on the nightbus is serious business. Difference of identity is a threat to societies thin veneer of reality and it take guts and character to oppose the tide of conformity.
I`m free enough of cynicism to be able to see the good in almost anyone, but still i've always been an extremely good judge of character. I can see through people like they were cling film, so a false pretense or lies never wash with me.
Oh and I also like to speak in silly voices and make animal noises loudly in public.

My Interests

If your feeling really generous and think I deserve a treat.... buy me a drink! Or maybe even buy me dinner :PI will repay you someday in lots of comments/e-mails/attention/sexual favours (subject to my choice ;p)

I'd like to meet:

Someone with Intelligence (this doesn't have to mean in the classic academic sense, could be someone with life experience...however, common sense is essential.) The best set of words in the right order seems to do it for me.

Someone with a good sense of humour, who doesn't take themselves, others, or situations too seriously, but has the integrity to know when not to joke around.

Someone with an inspiration, a goal in life, and the determination and perserverence to pursue it. Those creative driven souls who have the ambition to achieve their dream but are still adept enough to not be self-absorbed egoistics. Its a very fine line you must walk upon but if you do it well then you have my admiration.

People with sophistication, but not merely something they believe they can assume. Some people assume a persona of sophistication (especially on the internet) that they could not possibly have in reality. What they have instead is merely attitude an imitation of sophistication and worldly-wisdom designed to mask their tragically premature loss of innocence.

I seem to be attracted to the bad boys but smitten by the saints.

Tori Amos , Kate Bush, Siouxsie Sioux - their music has had more influence on my life than any other.

A male Dolce & Gabbana model would be nice and I don't think I need to explain why. ;)

Finally, and ideally, I want someone who will be there to hold my hand on the eve of nuclear war.
