About Me

"Learn like you will live forever. LIVE like you will die tomorrow."I am Angela. I have many sides and all have purpose. I, like many people, am discovering my strengths and contradictions daily. I call North Berwick my home, and for now, it is. Where I live is like who I am...close enough to the action to be a part of it when I want to, and far enough away to have my nest. No matter what you call me, I've probably been that at some point, but what I do and who I am are not always one and the same. I am passionate about everything, and you may not always know that until you ask me. Chances are, I have an opinion on the subject. At any given moment, you can ask me what song is in my head, and there will be one that suits the mood. My mouth gets me in more trouble than it should, but if you know me well enough, you should understand that sometimes the brain-to-mouth filter malfunctions. I am just me.

My Interests

Interests? Hmm. I am interested in motorcycles, learning new things, reading books that make me think, politics (when I have time to follow them), sushi, and shoes.

I'd like to meet:

The person who decided that these were the types of questions we should have on our pages.

Music:

Name it. Country, rock, hip hop....6 years of playing the flute even gave me an appreciation for classical. LOVE jazz, in the right moment. The only music that makes me cringe is techno, trance, and reggae.

Movies:

Romantic Comedies, Comedies, Porn. Enough said.

Television:

I quit my television habit and traded it for an internet addiction. Although I am still a Rescue Me addict. Wednesday nights on FX.

Books:

My all time favorite is "The Stand". The ultimate battle between good and evil. Besides that, I LOVE historical fiction. I am currently working on a project to finally finish reading the bible, something I've never done. But I've been inspired lately...

Heroes:

None. Wanna apply for the position?

Killing of the Elephant

Days Off are Meant for Wasting

Mumbo Jumbo and a P.S. for Leeann

Aah. Another night of late night blogging. That's okay with me though. I don't mind staring at the computer screen. Truth is, it's become somewhat of a friend to me in the last 26 months. I feel like...

Ranty Rant Rant

Wednesday morning. I sit here staring at a blank screen and wondering where to start my blog. My mind has been nonstop in the last few weeks, and sorting out real feelings from emotional pregnancy rol...

Welcome to Week 9

Dear god, the not-so-fun part has really begun. I've spent the last few days feeling really under the weather. This morning I woke up because I had to throw up. The cats were quite upset that I disrup...

My Obstacles

Just over a week until I move. Jesus. I was reading a book the other night. It's something I've been doing a lot lately. Reading. Just to calm my mind and get lost in another persons story for a whil...

If This Were a Movie, it Would Be a Drama

Here we go again. I am not sure if I am an idiot, or if I just trust in the faith of human nature. So I've already told you guys that Dan dumped me on Friday before I went to Connecticut. Well, there...
