I always hate my "about me" a few months after I write them, I feel like I always come off as such a jerk...
Therefor I'll give you the basics; the things that make up who I am and will likely never change. My name is Alyssa Mattox (well, the last name may change...) and my heritage incorperates almost every country in the world. I guess the majority of people assume I'm Scottish or French, so let's just say that's what I am. I was named after my great aunt who raised my amazing grandfather, but unfortunately he died before I ever got to meet him. So in honor of him and his [practically] mother, get my name right. ;) (except if you're in the group who calls me Apple, that's cool by me). I've been told I'm basically the living-on version of him, and I was the only one of many many children and grand children who got his eyes and hatred for pepper hahah
I am a Reformed Baptist Christian, Saved by the sovereign Grace of God. I still struggle with my sin every day of my life, but I find comfort in knowing that the Lord Jesus Christ has died and paid for my sins. He has changed me in ways many of you don't know, and continues to change me. I began attending Trinity Reformed Baptist Church in March of 2007, exactly two weeks before my 15th birthday. Prior to that I was without a church, as my family stopped attending when I was only four years old.. so unfortunately I don't remember anything about that church other than the free doughnuts in the Lobby. My life used to consist of nothing but impressing people, and I won't go into detail with that... but many of those people were only my friends because of my sin, and so I used my sin to impress them. The Lord has changed my ways so much, and it's truely remarkable just the way he's changed not only the way I act but the way I think...
My favorite food is whipped cream (I'm not fat) and for some reason people always ask me what my favorite food is, so there ya go. whipped cream in a bowl. or whipped cream pie, whichever is more convenient
I know nothing about music although I LOVE music. I listen to whatever comes on around me and I enjoy it, but I don't have the brain capacity to remember all the band names and song titles. But that's okay, since the music section on my profile always seems to dissapear for some reason...
