Twelve Gauge (new songs up!)

About Me

In late 2006, a group of four musicians began to expand their musical interests beyond solo playing, and developed a desire to contribute their unique styles to the up and coming local music scene. These musicians found each other, and the band was formed.
Drummer Arjun Sharma invited schoolmates singer Suresh Nahar and guitarist Tom Boyd to some jam sessions, held in the spare room of Arj's house. These sessions began to move beyond casual jamming and Rage covers, and fairly soon they had begun writing original music. However, after some months of sound localisation between the members, due to neighbour's complaints about the noise, they had to find a new place to practice.
Following this, the band found some rehearsal space at their school. Various school musicians were trialled to play bass guitar. Eventually around Easter 2007 they settled on bassist extraordinaire Tom Watson and the current band was formed. After numerous debates and name changes, the band finally settled on the name Twelve Gauge.
With influences ranging from hardcore to blues, grunge to pop, and a full live sets worth of material, the band is now looking for gigs. Watch this space!
