I have a very strange outlook on life. If someone could examine my life, they would probably wonder how my many beliefs and opinions could mesh into a working persons thought structure. For example, i value intelligence, and an ability to speak well, yet i enjoy being stupid around those who know me, and frequently choose to not talk so good. I believe that war is badly needed, to correct overcrowding worldwide, yet i'm one of the most caring people i can think of.

..I want to live in a society from which the last vestige of authority has disappeared, but, to speak frankly, I am not certain that the "mass", to call it what it is, is capable of dispensing with authority... a complete transformation of the general mentality, a different understanding of relations among men, a universal and individual change of state of mind, that will make certain methods and certain institutions impossible. Thus the individualist can affirm with certainty that authoritarianism will in no case continue in the future society. To imagine a "world to come" where there would still be a trace of domination, coercion and duty is nonsense.
The individualist does not put his hope in the future society. He lives in the present moment, and he wants to draw from it the maximum results. Individualist activity is essentially a present work and a present accomplishment.
