RSI Lighting Productions started out as AM Lighting Productions in 1999 working with Minneapolis hard rock band Conditioned Response. Over the next two years , gaining knowledge and gear AM was working with several local bands. In 2001 RSI began shifting the focus from conventional lighting to intelligent lighting and started accumulating intelligent light fixtures. After seven years ( and alot of money , gear is exspensive ! ) RSI has an arsenal of over 100 different intelligent light fixtures. The amount of lighting brought in to any given show varies by the size of the venue , stage , ceiling clearance and how much power is available. More than just intelligent lights, RSI also has lift systems , custom trussing , internally lit truss columns, power distros, foggers, hazers , high intensity strobe lights and a custom 8 x 8 drum riser with built in lights and ducting for a fog distribution system. Theres a few other bells and whistles that you won't find anywhere else. We have everything needed for a complete light show.RSI has done lighting work in local venues such as First Avenue , the Quest , the Fine Line music cafe , The Rock nightclub and quite a few other places in Minnesota that feature live music. We've also done work in Wisconsin , Iowa , North and South Dakota. Recently Scarlet Haze flew Al Madison out to Hollywood CA to run lights for their show when they played at the historic Whiskey a Go-Go.In the past nine years we've worked with quite a few national acts including Seether , Chevelle , Five Finger Death Punch , Alter Bridge , Smashmouth , Testament , Canned Heat , Corey Stevens , Jimmie Van Zant , Dokken , Seven Mary Three , Vince Neil , Pat Travers , The Georgia Sattelites , Blue Oyster Cult , Blackfoot , The Marshall Tucker Band , Crow , John Kay & Steppenwolf , Warrant, Skid Row, Default, Saliva, Powerman 5000 , Crossfade, Sepultura, Fear Factory, Firehouse, Bret Michaels, Candlebox, LA Guns, Ratt, Kings X, Great White, Buckcherry, Metal Church, Exodus, Napalm Death, Hatebreed, Kittie, Otep, Jackyl, Fishbone , Kevin Dubrow from Quiet Riot, Days of the New, Drowning Pool, Non Point, Bobaflex, Blessed Union of Souls, WASP, Dave Mason , The Guess Who , Sammy Kershaw, Trick Pony, Vanilla Ice and even 2 Live Crew. Scarlet Haze brought in Al Madison to operate Bon Jovis' multi million dollar light system for their opening set. Kat Perkins was quoted saying " Anyone can push buttons to turn lights on and off , but it takes a real talent to coordinate a light show with a live band."For bookings or other information send e-mails to
