Hannah Featherstone

Having grown up in a musical family, I was surrounded by music from an early age. I started piano at the age of 8 and the cello a few years later. Singing quickly became another of my main interests. I lived in France for over 16 years and did my entire schooling there. I then considered university as the perfect opportunity to rediscover England. Having hesitated whether to pursue music alongside psychology, I eventually decided to give up music for a while while I concentrated on my psychology studies at the university of sussex. However, the keyboard sitting in the corner of my room remained a distraction for me and I secretely wrote the majority of my songs during that time. Having now graduated, I've realised it's time to stop escaping from my passion for music which includes writing songs, backing and jazz singing in various settings...
