About Me

David Jasmine a.k.a (Do-Jo), Is an Englishman who studied music and music technology in 1994 at the Wester Hailes education centre, Edinburgh. In 1998 he signed a recording contract with "ZPR records (Polskie Nagrania) in Poland, where he established a band called "Crush" and released his first and only album titled "Adore me". In 2001 he signed a ten year publishing contract with "EMI Music Publishing Poland", In which he has enjoyed a great deal of success both in Poland and internationally.He has written for "Agressiva 69", "Gosia" (Eurovision song entry), "Hania Stach"(Polish pop idol winner), "Blog 27"(European MTV music award winner 2006 for best Polish act as well as being winners at the "EBBA" awards 2007 for best Polish album). Kostek Joriadis, Ala Boratyn (debut solo album), Sally Boo (debut singer from Belgium), Marek koscikiewicz (co-writing), Filip Siejka (co-writing) and currently co-writing with Raph Schillebeeckx (Artist/producer and songwriter from Belgium)."Blog 27" secured the number 1 chart position for seven weeks in Poland, giving David his first number 1 hit single with "Wid Out Ya", a composition he co-wrote with Marek Koscikiewicz and Filip Siejka, as well as having gained three further top ten hits from the same artist. The album peaked at number 2.---------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------------------Nov, 2007 to the present, has seen the release of Ala Boratyn's debut solo album titled "Higher" of which the first single released reached number 1 on MTV Polska, and is still fluctuating in the top three.He is currently based in Warsaw, although he travels extensively for most of the year. The song is titled 'Forever and a day'.David is working on a new project for his newly established pop/rock group called 'The Few' with co-writer Trevor Jones they are currently working on a demo. ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------2009 four new songs from 'The Few' have featured in a new Polish TV series called "Tancerze" (including the Outro music for the series with a song titled 'Dancer). In April/May the group will be recording more new songs at 'Izabellin Studios' with Andrzej PuczyÅ„ski.
