TWO NEW SINGLES COMING SOON
Beyond Hope Lies, a five-piece rock band with edge and emotion, based out of Manhattan, is picking up momentum as they sweep through the New York City underground. Although through the many line-up changes, two original members remain. The newest edition to the group is Roland Banks, a drummer with years of experiance in the industry, song writing skills, and the know how to make it happen. Proceeding Roland, Linzy Elliot, a young and aspiring guitarist, with the talent and heart to suceed in the cut-throat music buisness, joined the band as little as 5 months ago. Hashim (a.k.a. Hash) their new bass player has added more flavor to BHL. He has played with multiple bands. Hashim has picked up most of his bass playing skills from his uncle (Sekou Bunch) a famous Jazz Musican that has played with multiple artist and also appeared on the realty show Surveyor. Hashim is heavily influenced by Metal and hardcore music. Cip Tu-Su (a.k.a. Chip) fled to the United States to escape terrorism in his country, Indonesia. Former guitarist for the rock n' roll sensation Dead of Marley, and started Beyond Hope Lies over a year ago. Front man and co-founder of Beyond Hope Lies, Mike Tarry, has been a member of this band since the first few months they started on the scene. His lyrics are powerful, bringing to life strong emotions for everybody to relate to.
