Studio 139

About Me

Studio 139 grew out of the desire to record local musicians that would otherwise go unrecorded and naturally fade into the hum drum of everyday life and become Lawyers and Accountants. Realising that there is a wealth of talent fumbling away in their bedrooms and lounges going largly unrecognised I set out to record all maner of musical styles. Often with only small budgets (if any at all!!) these recordings uploaded here tell the stories of average muso's who don't necessarily seek the limelight but love making music.

I started out in a rather experimental band called "Pink Litmus Paper Shirt" and then evolved into something of a folk musician playing in "McIllhattons Cabal" and "Wind Jamers".

Have always had a passion for recording and technology and this has turned into a small recording studio setup.
