Rachael Cain AKA, Screamin’ Rachael is known to friends and fans around the world as “the Queen of House Music†and one of the creators of the legendary TRAX label. She started her career in Chicago as a premier ROCK DIVA, and has toured, collaborated, and shared stages with local legends, and International names including Bob Geldolf, Yoko Ono, George Clinton, Sugar Blue, John Sleezer, The Boyzz From Illinois, Paul Schaffer, Billy Zoom of X, Afrika Bambaataa, The Plasmatics, Cheap Trick, Buddy Miles of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Duncan Project, Adamski, and many more. She also founded The Space Place, with her partners Mike and Rich Harrington, the warehouse that spawned Chicago’s indy/ alternative scene, and showcased original talent, including Naked Raygun, The Effigies, Al Jorgensen of Ministry, and Rachael herself with her group Remote, at a time when local clubs featured cover bands, and all ages shows were non existant. Ms. Cain is currently the president of Phuture Trax Records, and today she has combined her love of Fashion and Music To launch 1House, with her partner, Mr. Mark Suchocki, and Indian garment industry moguls, UBC, (The Shah family) Who’s major brand experience includes Mecca, Pierre Cardin, and others. They have big plans to be the first Music and Fashion label of its kind! Always on the cutting edge, she recently decided, that it was time to Rock the world again. "We created DJ culture with House Music, and I really missed the excitemnent of singing with a totally Rockin live group, say’s Rachael. When I got the Governor, and Mayor of Illinois to sponsor House Unity Day in Grant Park, I wanted to come full circle. I had met John Sleezer through an introduction by the Molly Hatchet band, and knew it was time to go live again. I thought back to my rock roots, and decided to contact Mike Tafoya's Lost boys! I will be signing them to 1House, and also making live appearances with them. Mike is a guitar GOD in the true traditional sense and the band is SMOKIN' HOT!!!!! This is one of the exciting projects I’m working on. AT THIS TIME I AM LOOKING FOR LIKE MINDED MUSICIANS WHO ARE NOT AFRAID TO MIX GENRES, AND ARE DEDICATED TO BRINGING BACK LIVE MUSIC!
