Ross Lamoreaux

Well, first and foremost I'm a self-professed history geek who reenacts the Civil War as well as the War of 1812, 2nd Seminole War, and Mexican War. I am the father of Joseph, a quite precocious 6 year old, who is my buddy for many of these historical endeavors. I've worked a variety of jobs from soldier, restaurant manager, construction, and now historical interpretor (my current employment), but I've also dabbled in sewing historical reproductions which I make for friends and others in the reenactment community (see www.ejtmercantile.com for some of these). Even with all of my historical pursuits, I find time to read a variety of works, not just on war, but naturally gravitate toward that genre, with WEB Griffin, Shelby Foote, and Robert Parker as my favorite authors.
