He was introduced to the world of hip hop by his older cousin who has been part of his inspiration of his raps. Raised up in the county of manatee around negativity and poverty Moon P began based on the things he has seen or experienced in his lifetime. Moon P then began converting his poetry writings into songs. At the age of 14 Moon P started rapping with a group of friends who called themselves “Lyrical Mindz”. They would come together at one of their houses and make music off of industry instrumentals, a karaoke machine, and a microphone hanging from the ceiling fan. As time passed the group began to separate & go their own ways and Moon P moved out of the neighborhood. Moon P then began to work on his freestyle game rather than writing songs. Moon P has performed on stage with artists like Trina, Yung Joc , Papa Duck, and Frank Lini 21. As well as headlining at Café Millenium, and other various clubs. Moon P Has Produced his own tracks as well as engineering them at his home studio making the majority of his first solo album out his spare room, as well as producing tracks for other local artist.
